"Paraiso Perdido is a real treasure. this has been the fourth summer we have been spending with Sergio, Minouche, their kids and Milan and every year the experience only gets better. the piece and quiet of the place is contagious and after 15 days spent there, the feeling of harmony is all-encompassing. Milan gets a 10 for his bass and lamb made on a wood-stove and thank you dear friends Sergio and Minouche for creating such a fantastic place. See you next year! Eva"

We had a wonderful weekend! The housing is excellent (very well kept) and above all the treatment you get is great! The dinner in the Bedouin tent is really pleasant. We expect to come back soon.

"Spectacular! this is the word that describes the best the treatment we got! Sergio and Minouche treat the guests like the friends they invited over. We highly recommend the dinner in the Bedouin tent."

Guestbook

"We are a family with three small children. We stayed in Paraiso Perdido for 15 days last August and we enjoyed the stay immensely. The place is precious, it has this special charm from all of its nooks. Breakfast in a private garden, refreshing moments by the pool, wonderful diners in the Bedouin tent, peaceful nights spent enjoying the starry night above us, the fantastic barbecue for all the guests... everything was great! Sergio and Minuche made us feel like a part of the family from the moment we arrived. We will never forget the sunsets we witnessed in your company at the spectacular beach of La Fontanilla. You have adorable children, Saba and Xola. Our kids had a blast making friends with them, they didn't want to leave Paraiso Perdido. Affectionate greetings to Maikel who especially charmed our daughter. The days we spent at Paraiso Perdido went by so quickly, and we left desiring to come back as soon as possible. Thank you for everything."

"A really exceptional place, not just because of the lodgings and the nature, but also because of the remarkable people who work there. They made us feel a part of their family by giving us freedom to feel at home. a recommendation: you have to try Lucas' specialties, it will be an unforgettable diner you will surely want to repeat. Hugs, and thank you all for everything you have done."

"This is the first time we're leaving an entry in a guest-book in an accommodation establishment. We have visited some good and some bad places. both have had virtues and defects, but we never felt the need to voice out our opinion. Now we do. Paraiso Perdido is, essentially, a place with a heart. There's something for everyone: you can have tranquility and rest, try fun things and exercise, savor good food, meet new and interesting people. the treatment you get from the owners and the staff is very hospitable and friendly. they could advertise Paraiso Perdido with this slogan: 'for those weekends that stay with you for the rest of your life'."

What is an aparthotel and why is it so great?

An apartment-hotel (aparthotel) combines best features of two kinds of accommodation - hotels and private apartments. It's an apartment complex that offers both apartments and rooms, both of whom are serviced.

The complex is under residential suppervision and there is a shared lobby or entrance through which all the tenants and visitors must pass in order to reach the accommodation. This provides guests with both privacy and security.

This type of accommodation is more flexible than the usual hotel accommodation, guests can choose between rooms and fully equipped apartments where they are provided with all the everyday household appliances needed for day to day life and comfort.

Aparthotels use a hotel-style booking system. One can check-out whenever they wish, and this is why aparthotels are more convenient than simply renting an ordinary privately owned apartment.

Staying in an aparthotel, you get the chance to rent out a place on prime locations and experience the everyday life and local culture in style.

The length of stay in an aparthotal may vary - you can stay a few days or even a year. It's a home away from home.

Aparthotels came to be a very popular way of accommodation. There is no better way for discovering beautiful and mystic Andalusia than enjoying local cuisine in a bedouin tent, trying out horseback riding or visiting Cadiz or Tarifa while staying in Paraiso Perdido Casa Rural aparthotel.
